Empire State Building (ESB) & GE Building (Rockefeller Center): Buildings and Observation Decks

Two are the main observation decks of New York: the tops of the Empire State and the Rockefeller Center. For those who have the NYPass and have the proper time, the best idea is to go to both, as both has almost the same views of the city. The advantage of the Rockefeller Center is that you can get a cool shot of the south and Lower Manhattan with a close-up of the ESB and a clean view of the Central Park. On the other hand, the advantage of the Obs. Deck of the Empire State is that you’re gonna get clean shots of the Lower Manhattan and the new WTC complex, aswell as the delicious architectural details of the icon of the Art Deco worldwide. Have in mind that in the Empire State you may find yourself waiting more than an hour (usually) in line, being this the common complain of the travelers. In the Rockefeller Center, it’s almost always faster. Here’s the shots from both decks and the buildings:
