Miami International Airport (MIA) – Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)

LOS ANGELES INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (LAX)

.

One may say that Los Angeles was made for the car, but I would add that it was also made for the airplanes. Among with the many airports it has, the biggest one is the Los Angeles International Airport, or simply LAX, like most people call it. It is the 5th bussiest airport in the world, with almost 90 destinations inside the USA and almost 70 destinations in the rest of the world. LAX is an essential point for United Airlines, aswell as for American Airlines, Delta, and Southwest Airlines. The airport is worlwide-known for the Theme Building with a futuristic design that seems taken from The Jetsons. The next 3 videos show the LAX Airport, the views from the bus who takes the passengers beneath amongst the many runways, and some shots of the American Airlines airplanes.

MIAMI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (MIA)

.

While the JFK Airport of New York is the main international door of the US to the world, the Miami Airport is the main door of the US to the countries of Latin America. The layout of the terminals are actually very simple, being itself a semicircle, and the runways, seen from the air, form a letter “Z”. This short video shows the airport from the inside, having in mind that it was shot while I was just waiting for the transfer flight of the route Buenos Aires – Los Angeles:
