I remember my first impression of Paris, after leaving the train in the huge Gare Du Nord Train Station. I remember the sun of the morning in Seine River and the Eiffel Tower, far away. Because the city is relatively flat with buildings with the same height, the Eiffel Tower and the Tour Montparnasse act like some sort of unique skylines, kinda like the skyline of Manhattan with New York (in an obvious different way). The actual Paris was built after the massive demolition of the old Middle Age city, known for the strategic layout of diagonal avenues to supress the rallies of the 19th century, which by the way it takes some time to get used to if you don’t live there. The strength of the city is its culture, with many big museums such us the Louvre, the Pompidou, and the Musée d’Orsay. On the other hand, the other big strength the city has is the food, with some of the most delicious bakery in the world. What a lot of people do is buy sandwiches in the bakery shops or the stalls on the streets for some very good prices. So what you’re gonna see here is, together with the Quick City Overview Paris, the videos of the gorgeous gothic Notre Dame Cathedral and the iconic Eiffel Tower, from the elevator going through the base and the two observation decks where you can watch the entire city, and specially the place of the modern Paris: the La Défense district with the International Style and modern architecture buildings.
