San Isidro

San Telmo is the most bohemian and curious neighborhood in Buenos Aires. The special feeling of this place is a must-see for all the tourists, even those who live in the city. Lots of secrets can be seen by the trained eye. The so-called Casas-Chorizo (translated: “saussage-houses” because of the disposition of the rooms and the main public hall). The details of the facade were in most cases very similar because the owners chose them from a catalogue of designs. But there was some houses that skipped the rules. The House of Dragons is one of those. The designs inside and outside the building are based on complete and segmented dragons (wings, feet, etc). After several years abandoned, the house was reopened to the public as a gallery of art and it was completely revitalized.
